Hello, my name is Adriana. I am a Justice Studies major and also pursuing a minor in Sociology. I am a senior and will be graduating this December. The social movement that I have chosen is immigration. This movement just recently regained it's momentum in 2006. I am ineterested in this subject because I believe that all human beings should be treated with equality and respect regardless of class, race, and citizenship status. I do not agree with the term "illegal" that is given to the immigrant people.I believe that no human being is illegal. Calling a group of people "illegals" only leads to harsher discrimination and no respect for them as human beings.
